The mod quad (modern quad) is a very reliable tool in the quiver, best suited for the 2-6' range of waves. This board has been developed with a little more rear end to keep it loose in the small stuff but still sit comfortably in the slot in the barrel.

If you love quads this boards is for keeps. It's fast, loose and highly sensitive to your needs. It will usually out perform other quads in the same size range yet provide a solid feeling under foot while retaining the ability to be very snappy and loose in amongst junk waves.

I have blended a little bit of moshstik into this one because of the 75% crap factor. If you're wondering what the carp factor is... well that's often what we're surfing most of the time on the east coast, 75%crap. But know this... when the swell picks up a little and the wind swings offshore this board will leave you feeling totally satisfied.
